Standard outside-UK Skilled Worker fees currently listed are £819 for up to three years or £1,618 for longer. Location, duration and a qualifying fee category affect the charge. Recheck at submission.
Maintenance is not an application charge
The guidance identifies £1,270 in available funds with a required holding period, subject to exceptions including certified sponsor support. Keep this evidence separate from the fee and from your expected living expenditure. Read the support conditions before assuming an employer promise removes the requirement.
Check the healthcare surcharge exemption
Eligible Health and Care Worker applicants and eligible family members do not pay the healthcare surcharge. That does not establish that every healthcare job or every sponsored worker uses this visa. Confirm the actual route before adding or removing this expense.
Finish your dated budget
Add quotes for travel, temporary housing, deposits, translations and moving possessions. Separate optional purchases from expenses required before travel. Record GBP prices, the exchange rate and conversion fees. Choose a contingency you can afford; the former all-in NGN estimate cannot describe every city, family or employment package.
