Reconcile employment evidence
Keep the sponsorship reference, licence details, occupation code, job title and salary together. Compare them with the contract and resolve discrepancies before submission. The document list also identifies identity, English and case-dependent evidence.
An English-taught degree needs proof
Where an overseas degree is used to prove English, GOV.UK directs applicants to an Ecctis assessment. The usual current level is B2, with specified transition and exemption cases. Having studied in English is not by itself the required immigration evidence.
Budget using the actual application
Use the current fee page and proposed duration. Keep fees, any surcharge, maintenance evidence and personal moving costs separate. Convert dated GBP quotes to INR using your payment provider’s rate rather than the old fixed conversion.
Questions for the employer
Confirm the duties, hours, work location and start-date flexibility. Establish which expenses are reimbursed and when. Use the current official checklist to decide which additional documents to obtain. Avoid resigning or booking non-refundable travel merely because an article gives a decision estimate.

Is an English-taught Indian degree sufficient by itself?
Follow the official assessment evidence when relying on an overseas degree.
What if sponsorship details differ from the contract?
Ask the employer to reconcile them before submission.
