Is this a scam?
No. whereTOemigrate is built and operated by Antonio Mira, a solo founder based in Portugal who personally went through immigration research and got tired of the scattered information.
Every visa pathway in the database links to a published source URL — you can verify any claim. About half the URLs point to official government immigration portals; the rest are immigration-attorney references and embassy bulletins where the government source is hard to find or unindexed. Payments are processed by Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant). The contact email (hello@wheretoemigrate.io), refund/correction policy, and privacy posture are all public.
If you find anything misleading, email and we will fix it within 14 days at no charge.
How accurate is the visa data?
The pathway database covers +2,500+ programmes across 190+ countries. Every active pathway has a published source URL (about 50% direct government links, 50% immigration-attorney references and embassy bulletins).
Where data is uncertain (income thresholds missing, processing times stale), the engine applies a confidence multiplier rather than guessing — you may see a country flagged with a lower confidence rather than a confidently wrong number.
Pathway data is refreshed quarterly. If a recent rule change is not reflected, email us and we will correct it free under the 14-day accuracy guarantee.
Where does the data come from?
- Visa pathways: official government immigration portals (linked per programme).
- Cost of living: World Bank, OECD, cost-of-living tools.
- Salaries: OECD and ILO.
- University rankings: QS and OpenAlex (CC0).
All sources are listed at wheretoemigrate.io/data-sources with the licence terms for each.
What if I'm wrong about my income or savings?
That is the number-one cause of report regret. The engine takes your inputs at face value, so a wrong number changes the verdict.
If you realise you mis-entered any input within 14 days of purchase, email hello@wheretoemigrate.io with the correction and we will regenerate the report at no charge. We are also building a self-service regenerate flow so you can fix and re-run yourself.
Do you offer refunds?
Reports are personalized digital products delivered immediately, so the standard EU 14-day right-of-withdrawal does not apply (Art. 16(m) Consumer Rights Directive — you waive it at checkout).
If you find a factual error in your report's visa data, email us within 14 days and we will correct it and reissue at no charge. If you mis-entered an input, see the regeneration policy above.
How fast will I get my report?
Reports are generated automatically and sent to your email within 5 minutes of payment.
If you do not see it in 10 minutes, check your spam folder; if still missing, email hello@wheretoemigrate.io and we will resend or regenerate manually.
Can I re-download my report later?
Yes. Every report email includes a download link tied to a unique token. You can re-download the PDF up to 10 times.
If you lose the email, forward your Stripe receipt to hello@wheretoemigrate.io and we will reissue a fresh download link.
Is this the same as a free Google search?
No. A Google search returns hundreds of pages of generic visa information.
The report is your personal qualification map — given your nationality, age, education, profession, savings, income, family status, and language skills, which specific programmes will accept you, and what would block you in each. The 90-day action plan is built around your top match, not a generic checklist.
If you'd rather see how this compares to ChatGPT, Reddit threads, lawyers, and Nomad Capitalist directly, see /compare-tools.
What countries do you cover?
All 190+ countries with 2,500+ visa pathways. Coverage depth varies — the OECD and large-immigration markets (Canada, Germany, Portugal, Spain, UK, Australia, US, UAE) have the deepest data.
Smaller markets are covered with the official programme name, requirements, and source link, but may be flagged with a lower confidence score.
What if my situation is complex (criminal record, asylum, dual citizenship, health)?
This product does not handle complex legal cases. The engine assumes a clean record and a single nationality.
If you have a criminal record, are seeking asylum, have a complex dual-citizenship situation, or have health exclusions that affect visa eligibility, you need a licensed immigration lawyer — see /when-this-wont-help for detail.
The report can still be useful as a country-shortlist, but the verdict will be optimistic for your situation.
Is this legal advice?
No. The report is information based on public visa data and your inputs. It is not legal, immigration, tax, or financial advice.
We recommend consulting a licensed immigration professional before making any binding financial commitment (signing a lease, transferring funds, lodging an application).
Will my data be sold or shared?
No. Your quiz answers and email are stored on EU servers (Cloudflare), used only to generate your report and send the report email plus a 7-day nurture sequence.
Data is never sold or shared with third parties. You can request deletion at any time via privacy@wheretoemigrate.io. See /privacy for the full processor list and lawful bases.
Who built this?
Antonio Mira, a solo founder based in Portugal, built and operates whereTOemigrate.
He personally researched the process, found the existing tools fragmented, and built a single-engine alternative. Antonio handles every support email personally. See /about for full background.
What if a country I want isn't ranked highly?
The verdict is honest. If a country scores DELAY or AVOID for your profile, the report will tell you why — what specifically blocks you (income threshold, language requirement, processing complexity).
The Premium tier shows kill conditions and a Plan B map so you understand exactly what would have to change for the verdict to flip to MOVE.
How do I contact support?
Email hello@wheretoemigrate.io for product questions, refunds/corrections, re-downloads, or anything else.
Antonio responds personally — usually within 24 hours, often the same day. There is no chatbot, no ticketing form, no offshore support tier.
