Can I work any job on the Graduate Route?
Yes. There are no restrictions on the type or level of work. You can work full-time, part-time, freelance, or be self-employed.
Can I switch to a Skilled Worker visa?
Yes. If you find an employer willing to sponsor you, you can switch to a Skilled Worker visa from within the UK. Time on Graduate Route does not count toward the 5-year settlement requirement.
Can I extend the Graduate Route?
No. The Graduate Route cannot be extended. It is a one-time, 2-year (or 3-year for PhD) visa.
Does it lead to settlement?
Not directly. Time on the Graduate Route does not count toward Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR). You must switch to a qualifying visa (Skilled Worker) for settlement.
