What immigration status and rights result, how long do they last, can family be included, and what happens if the special qualifying circumstance ends?

The result is temporary residence for the purpose of special activities, granted for the period necessary to achieve the purpose, maximum two years; it may be renewed, even repeatedly, if the purpose persists and conditions continue to be met. The police department cancels temporary residence if the purpose for which it was granted has ceased.
