What application progression, residence obligations, family consequences or further citizenship/residence possibilities follow?

The application may be submitted at the Foreign Police Department by a holder of the Slovak-living-abroad certificate; no integrity document is needed if applying within 60 days of the certificate. Temporary residence may be renewed, even repeatedly, if the purpose persists, for a maximum of five years per renewal. Family members of a third-country national with temporary residence may be granted temporary residence for family reunification. Long-term residence is granted after at least 5 years of uninterrupted legal residence in Slovakia.
