Which nationalities and age range can participate?

Citizens of Canada between 18 and 35 (including) years of age at the time of application can participate.

What combination of travel, work, study or training does the programme permit?

The programme permits one of three categories: further paid training in the Czech Republic on the basis of a promised work contract after finishing post-secondary studies; an internship or job placement that is a compulsory part of post-secondary studies; or travel in the Czech Republic with occasional work to finance the trip.

What funds, insurance, onward travel or similar preparation is particularly important?

Before receiving the visa in the passport, the applicant must provide proof of travel medical insurance covering emergency and essential care for the first 90 days together with comprehensive insurance for the rest, or comprehensive insurance for the entire permitted residence.
