Statutory-body members also provide a Commercial Register extract and proof the company has no outstanding debts.

What approval/application sequence applies, how long is the status granted, how is it renewed, and what longer-term residence direction is officially stated?

Applicants are holders of a long-term business visa, or of a long-term residence permit with over 5 years' continuous residence (with stated exceptions). Apply only in person at a Ministry of the Interior office by the last day of current validity; processing is 60 days. The permit is valid for up to 2 years and can be extended repeatedly for up to 2 years each time, filing between 120 days before expiry and the last day of validity.
