What status is obtained, how is it renewed, what longer-term residence/citizenship direction is officially stated, and what happens to the investment when relevant?

If approved, the applicant receives a Residential Certificate with the right to reside and seek employment in Bermuda for an indefinite period, plus automatic work-permit approval for a business in which the holder invested. The qualifying investment must be maintained at a minimum value of $2,500,000 for at least five years; the official source does not state what happens to the investment after that period. The policy does not state citizenship or a separate renewal route; it is effective 7 June 2024.
