The holder must comply with the permit conditions and not engage for gain in anything not specified in the permit, and must notify the nearest immigration office of any change of address. The permit ceases to be valid if the holder fails to enter Zambia within six months of issue (or a later endorsed date), is absent for more than six months without notifying the Director-General of Immigration in writing of the intention to return, or is absent for any period in excess of twelve months.
