What education or training is this pathway designed for?

The Barcelona consulate adds that if the means are the student's own and not from a scholarship, bank documentation must show the funds available to pay tuition and maintenance. Family position: per the Venezuelan Consulate in Barcelona, a 'Transeúnte familiar' visa is granted, at the request of the holder of an Estudiante (student) transient visa, to the holder's spouse, children under 18 who are not emancipated, and parents and parents-in-law, subject to reliable proof of the family relationship and of economic dependency; that document is valid for one year. The Madrid consulate also lists a 'Visa de Transeúnte Familiar Estudiantil' for relatives holding a student visa.
