What exact activity, role or purpose qualifies?

The Religious Transient Visa (TR-REL) is for representatives of any religion, non-migrants, travelling to Venezuela for religious activities other than tourism.

What organisation, institution, religious body, charity, teacher or host must support the activity?

The applicant must present the original and a copy of a letter from their congregation in which the visa request is made.

What proves the placement, role, affiliation, experience or cultural/religious/voluntary activity?

The congregation letter must state the applicant's names and surnames, date and place of birth, passport number and issue/expiry dates, the religion or religious worship they belong to, date of entry and date of departure or estimated length of stay (not more than one (1) year), exact address in Venezuela, and any related activity the applicant carries out.

Valid for one year, multiple entries, permitting a stay for the same period. Renewal must be requested from the competent Ministry at least two months before expiry. The official source does not state whether the host can be changed or whether family may accompany.
