How long can they stay, can they change host/activity, can family accompany, and can the status be extended?

Initial grant: up to 24 months, or up to 28 days more than the time on the certificate of sponsorship; entry allowed up to 14 days before the job starts. Extension is possible up to a maximum of 24 months, or the certificate time plus 14 days, whichever is shorter. Changing job within the same organisation or moving to a new one requires a new application. Partner and children may accompany as dependants. The visa cannot be obtained if a Religious Worker or Charity Worker visa was held in the last year, unless outside the UK for that whole time.
