A person who was married to a Turks and Caicos Islander for at least 5 years where the Islander spouse is now deceased; a person who divorced before the spouse's death does not qualify.

If you divorced before your spouse’s death, you will not qualify.
There is no living sponsor; the qualifying connection is the deceased spouse, who must have been a Turks and Caicos Islander.
Note: You must be able to evidence that your spouse has both deceased and was an Islander.
The listed evidence is the marriage certificate, the spouse's birth certificate, any other evidence of the spouse's Islander status (e.g. the spouse's parents' birth certificates or Islander certificate), and the spouse's death certificate.
1. Marriage certificate, and 2. Spouse’s birth certificate, and 3. Any other evidence to prove spouse’s Islander status (for example spouse’s parents’ birth certificates or spouse’s Islander certificate), and 4. Spouse’s death certificate.
The applicant must be capable of supporting themselves and their dependants, evidenced by a rent agreement/landlord letter or evidence of mortgage, and a bank statement/letter showing funds.

Application under Immigration Regulations 13(2)(e) with a $5,000 main-applicant fee ($4,000 refundable if not approved) and a $150 non-refundable submission fee. If granted, the holder may reside without time limit and may work, and may qualify to apply for naturalisation 12 months after obtaining the PRC.
