Each spouse must be over 18.
- Financial resources
The sponsor's total monthly income must be at least the minimum wage and at least one third of the minimum wage for each family member.
- Prior immigration or residence status
The sponsor must be a Turkish citizen, an Article 28 person, a qualifying residence-permit holder, a refugee or a subsidiary-protection beneficiary.
- Qualifying family relationship
The permit covers a foreign spouse, foreign minor children of either spouse, and dependent foreign children of either spouse.
