The applicant must have an employment contract with a foreign public company or a qualifying foreign private company that has operated for at least three years and meets the current revenue test.

Average personal income of at least USD 80,000 per year over the previous two years is required; USD 40,000–79,999 may qualify with the prescribed master's degree, intellectual-property ownership or Series A funding condition.
