The visa documents are submitted online to the Embassy in Washington DC; after pre-assessment the applicant may be invited by e-mail for processing such as digital fingerprints and a digital photograph. For a K business visa valid for more than one month, the applicant must first obtain a visa support letter/confirmation of invitation from the Main Consular Department of the MFA of Tajikistan; without it the Embassy cannot process a business visa longer than one month.
