A spouse whose visa annotation already states the relationship, the spouse's name and ID number is treated as verified and only needs the sponsor's ID document; otherwise (visa-free entry or a visa annotated only "P") a relationship document authenticated by an overseas mission, such as a marriage or birth certificate, is required. Children submit proof of relationship such as a birth certificate or court adoption ruling.
