Which family relationships qualify?

The Mainland China spouse of a person of the Taiwan Area who has held permitted dependent residence for four years, residing more than one hundred eighty-three days in Taiwan each year; the required documents also cover cases where the Taiwan spouse has died or, after divorce, the applicant exercises parental rights over a minor biological child with Taiwan household registration.

What is important for proving marriage, partnership, parentage, custody, dependency or another qualifying relationship?

Proof that the marriage continues, or of the sponsor's death, or after divorce of exercising parental rights over a minor biological child with Taiwan household registration (e.g. national ID card or household register, or court judgment); where the sponsor died, a notarised non-remarriage certificate may be required; for custody/visitation cases supporting evidence and an NIA home visit.
