- Job offer or appointment
A job offer is not required because the Gold Card contains an open work permit.
- Qualifications or professional authorisation
The applicant must qualify in at least one of the 12 published fields: architecture, biotechnology, culture and arts, digital, economy, education, environmental protection, finance, law, national defence, science and technology, or sports.
- Passport or travel-document requirement
A passport valid for at least 6 months is required.
- Work authorisation requirement
The Gold Card combines an open work permit, resident visa, Alien Resident Certificate and re-entry permission.
