The applicant must have a credible basis for the budget, and the Migration Agency conducts a financial assessment of the business plans. They must have enough of their own money (loans are not normally accepted) to cover expected costs and investments and any purchase of the business, plus at least SEK 200,000 in a bank account in their name for self-support, and SEK 100,000 for an accompanying spouse and SEK 50,000 for each accompanying child.
