This LTVP route is for a parent or grandparent of a child studying in Singapore on a Student's Pass.

The required documents are the student's birth certificate, the birth certificate/household register of the student's parents, the parents' marriage certificate, divorce certificates/separation deed and custody papers if applicable, and a letter from the student's school; originals with official translations are required.

All persons added as applicants must review the application form and give their declarations by logging in to ICA e-Service with Singpass (or ICA-provided credentials if ineligible for Singpass) before submission. Most applications are processed within 6 weeks if all required documents are in order. Renewal must be submitted at least 3 months before the current LTVP expires; the renewed LTVP is valid from the date of issuance and remaining validity is not carried forward.
