How long can they stay, can they change host/activity, can family accompany, and can the status be extended?

Temporary residence is granted for up to three years per request and can be extended (request no sooner than three months before and no later than expiry). The person must contact the competent police department if the reason on which residence was granted ceases. Spouses of a foreign national with temporary residence on grounds other than employment can apply for family reunification. The official source does not state whether the host church can be changed.
