For non-U.S. citizens the business visa is issued for only one month (30 days) with multiple entries and cannot exceed 30 days. U.S. citizens travelling for business are granted a six-month (180-day) multiple-entry visa.

At border controls, visitors must have ready evidence of the purpose of the visit, means of support for the duration of the stay and accommodation arrangements. The passport should remain valid for the next 6 months before the date of departure.

A business applicant who plans to stay in the Republic of Congo for more than 30 days should extend the visa at the nearest Office of Immigration. Any change of immigration status must be made in the Republic of Congo and is granted by the Office of Immigration.
