8.1 All applicants for visas must provide either:
a. Evidence that the applicant has sufficient funds genuinely available to them to meet
their reasonable costs of maintenance and accommodation for the duration of their
visa to the Pitcairn Islands, taking into account any accommodation that has been
pre-paid; or
b. Proof of sponsorship by a suitable person, organisation, or Government agency in the
form of a written undertaking for the maintenance and accommodation of the
applicant.
