Which family members can be included where officially stated, and what broad residence/work rights result?

Family members of a foreign resident may opt for resident status or another status of their choice if they meet the requirements; the holder's status does not automatically extend to them. The family unit comprises the spouse or de facto partner; minor children; unmarried adult children up to 28 in technical or higher studies; unmarried adult children unable to support themselves due to proven disability; minor and disabled unmarried adult children of the spouse/partner; and first-degree ascendants of the holder and of the spouse/partner. Family Resident status allows entry, stay and dependent or independent lucrative activity.

Limits of the record
  • Family position comes from the general family-reunification rule of Legislative Decree 1350 for all resident statuses, not from a route-specific page.
  • Items g and h of the family-unit list are split from a-f by column layout in the PDF text.

What status is obtained, how is it renewed, what longer-term residence/citizenship direction is officially stated, and what happens to the investment when relevant?

The published Migraciones procedure is for investor resident status. Its renewal page says a resident investor seeking to continue lawful investment applies through the digital agency while in Peru 30 days before expiry; each stated stay is 365 days and may be extended for the same period, with the applicant acting as company manager or director in compliance with labour and tax rules; the published checklist asks for proof of the company’s last annual tax return, a capital-increase deed when applicable, and Sunarp registration. After three consecutive years of residence, an investor may apply for a change to permanent migratory status; during that period absences must not exceed 183 consecutive days in a 365-day period without permission. The investor checklist additionally requires evidence of at least S/ 55,000 gross annual income in the previous fiscal year, tax and EsSalud compliance and payroll evidence of ten jobs for Peruvians in the last three months. These are application conditions, not an automatic grant. Naturalisation is a separate procedure: the current Migraciones service page describes a general minimum of two consecutive years of legal residence, while published Law 32421 describes five years but expressly defers commencement until publication of its regulation. These materials do not prove a fixed investor-to-citizenship timetable.

Limits of the record
  • The effective commencement of Law 32421 and the resulting operative naturalisation threshold are not established by the captured instruments; do not treat the five-year publication text or the portal two-year text as a guaranteed investor-specific outcome.
  • No official captured source states what happens to the underlying investment on exit.
