How long can they stay, can they change host/activity, can family accompany, and can the status be extended?

For the Entertainer visa class Film maker (Commercial), the official source does not state a route-specific maximum length of stay, whether the holder may change host or activity, or whether family may accompany. Under the general rules, dependent family members (a spouse, unmarried children under 18 and ageing parents) must make separate entry-permit applications, and dependent permits cease when the principal entry permit ceases. De facto dependents have additional requirements: if the relationship has existed for less than 12 months, a short-term Dependent Entry Permit may be issued for up to 12 months, while relationships of more than 12 months receive a Dependent Entry Permit in accordance with the principal’s approved period of stay. Extension applications must be lodged well before the current entry permit expires, extensions are issued only to people currently in Papua New Guinea, and there is no grace period. The fee table lists Film-maker (Commercial) with an extension fee of USD 700 and a late extension fee of USD 1,350.
