The application may include dependants; for each dependant a B/. 1,000.00 fee to the National Treasury and a B/. 1,000.00 repatriation deposit to the National Migration Service are paid with the application. A spouse or dependants in the same application may hold the investment jointly with the main applicant, counted as one investment if its net value reaches the minimum. While the investor keeps the residence and investment, new children (by birth or later adoption) and a new spouse (civil marriage after approval) can be added as dependants, who obtain a Permanent Residence card. Qualified investors, including their dependants, may apply for Panamanian citizenship by naturalisation after five (5) consecutive years of residence, per the Constitution.
