What investment option or options qualify?

Ownership of real estate: the Public Registry certification must show the property is free of liens, and the purchase funds must come from abroad. The property may also be held by a private-interest foundation (if the founder and the applicant or dependants are the beneficiaries) or by a corporation whose shares are nominative in the name of the applicant and dependant (bearer shares are not admitted). If the applicant has paid B/.300,000.00 in cash for a property of higher value, the remainder may be financed through a local bank mortgage.

What official minimum amount, tier or threshold applies to each relevant option?

The official minimum investment amount is B/.300,000.00 in real estate. Government fees are separate: a certified cheque for B/.250.00 payable to the National Treasury and a certified cheque for B/.800.00 payable to the National Immigration Service.
