What type of worker, employment situation, occupation or professional activity is this pathway actually designed for?

This is the standard Royal Oman Police work visa. It is granted at the request and on the responsibility of an employer to a foreigner who is coming to Oman for employment. Unless the foreigner is invited by a government organisation, a labour permit from the Ministry of Manpower is needed before the visa is issued.

The visa is applied for by an employer acting as sponsor.
