The Royal Oman Police service on Gov.om (updated 28 March 2025) sets out three steps: submitting the request, reviewing the request and issuing the joint visa; the service fee is 0. It requires a passport, and the applicant must be a citizen of a country eligible for the Qatar-Oman Joint Tourist Visa, must arrive directly from Qatar and must have a valid entry visa from the State of Qatar. The undated eVisa FAQ states that the joint visa with Qatar is free when coming directly from Qatar and is obtainable by paper application, not online. The official sources do not reconcile the application channel. The official source does not state whether or how the stay can be extended.
