You may be an employee, self-employed, family member, student, have your own funds, or be employed by a foreign company.
- Age requirement

- Nationality or qualifying status
If you have a family member who is a Norwegian citizen and you have lived together in another EU/EEA country, you can register as a family member if you have lived together on a permanent basis in another EU/EEA country, and
- Prior immigration or residence status
If you believe you have the right to reside, you must be able to document that the EU/EEA citizen is employed, self-employed, a service provider, a student, or has their own funds to support themselves.

If you have a family member who is a Norwegian citizen and you have lived together in another EU/EEA country, you can register as a family member if your Norwegian family member has been an employee, self-employed person or student in this EU/EEA country, or has lived there with sufficient funds of their own, and
