What approval/application sequence applies, how long is the status granted, how is it renewed, and what longer-term residence direction is officially stated?

After entry, a foreigner over 15 must apply for a residence permit at the nearest police station within three months of entry. The permit is issued for 2 years and is renewable; renewal requires still meeting the original conditions on the professional activity, with a medical certificate at the second renewal and every 4 years thereafter, filed in the last quarter before expiry. The official source does not state a longer-term residence direction.
