What must actually exist or be demonstrated: business plan, company, innovation, clients, contracts, economic activity, job creation or other substance?

A registered business: company registration documents less than 3 months old (statutes, Kbis and/or RIDET) and, for a regulated profession, an authorisation to practise or registration with the professional order; for a commercial, industrial or craft activity, a first application needs the opinion on the economic viability of the non-salaried activity from the Directorate of Labour, Employment and Vocational Training (DTEFP). For an activity not subject to authorisation: documents proving the project of that activity.

What investment, capital, income, revenue, funding or viability evidence is central to this pathway?

At renewal of a commercial, industrial or craft activity, proof is required that the activity can provide resources at least equivalent to the full-time SMG, with tax clearance, the latest tax notice and 3 months of pay slips or accounts; for an activity not subject to authorisation, any document proving sufficient resources is required (tax notice, last 3 bank statements, service contract, customer invoice).
