For the relevant traveller scope, is a visa, electronic authorisation, visa on arrival or no advance visa normally required?

Nationals of countries not exempted from visa requirements need a visa to visit Namibia; since 1 April 2025 nationals of listed non-reciprocating countries must apply for a visa, which can be obtained online or on arrival at listed ports of entry.

Tourist visas are valid for 90 days from the date of issue; the visitor entry permit issued at the port of entry covers the period requested, not exceeding 90 days in a calendar year.

    Tourist visas are valid for 90 days f rom the date of issue. Upon meeting all requirements, the visitor will be issued with a visitor entry permit at the port of entry depending on the period requested by the traveller, provided it will not exceed 90 days in a calender year.
