The host must be a religious community that has registered its operation and seat in Montenegro, in accordance with the regulations governing the legal status of religious communities; this is stated for the long-stay visa D for religious service.
Strancu koji namjerava da boravi u Crnoj Gori radi obavljanja vjerske službe u Crnoj Gori viza za duži boravak (viza D) može se izdati ako posjeduje dokaz o obavljanju vjerske službe u vjerskoj zajednici koja je prijavila djelovanje i sjedište u Crnoj Gori, u skladu sa propisima kojima se uređuje pravni položaj vjerskih zajednica, kao i dokaz o finansiranju troškova izdržavanja, smještaja, zdravstvenog osiguranja i troškova povratka u državu čiji je državljanin.
Besides meeting the Article 43 conditions, the applicant must attach, as proof justifying the application, a certificate that the religious community in which they intend to perform religious rites and religious duties has registered its operation and seat in Montenegro, in accordance with the regulations governing the legal status of religious communities.

A temporary residence permit is issued with a validity of up to one year. Temporary residence can be extended only if the foreigner applies for extension on the same legal basis on which the previous temporary residence was granted; the extension request is filed in person with the Ministry at the place of residence, no earlier than 60 and no later than 30 days before the permit expires. The official source does not state whether family members may accompany or whether the religious community can be changed.
Dozvola za privremeni boravak izdaje se sa rokom važenja do jedne godine.
Privremeni boravak iz stava 1 ovog člana može se produžiti samo ako stranac podnese zahtjev za produženje po istom pravnom osnovu po kom mu je odobren prethodni privremeni boravak.
Zahtjev za produženje dozvole za privremeni boravak stranac podnosi lično Ministarstvu u mjestu boravka, najranije u roku od 60, a najkasnije u roku od 30 dana prije isteka roka važenja dozvole za privremeni boravak.
