What exact status does accumulated residence lead to?

A permanent residence permit, issued to a non-citizen who satisfies the criteria in Part IV of the First Schedule to the Economic Development Board Act 2017.

What other major conditions apply, how is the status obtained, and what renewal, document-validity, retention or loss rules matter?

Besides the qualifying period, a minimum annual turnover of 15 million rupees for 5 years preceding application or an aggregate turnover of 75 million rupees for a consecutive period of 5 years immediately preceding it (alternatively, an AI Founder under the AI City Scheme who has invested at least USD one million). Application is made to the Minister; the permit is issued on payment of the prescribed fee and on conditions, and is valid for 20 years from issue. The official source does not state renewal, retention or loss rules.
