Dependent Residence Permit - Occupation Permit or Retired Holder

(g) he is the spouse, dependent child, parent or other dependent of a person, other than a young professional, who is the holder of a residence permit as a retired non-citizen;

“dependent child” means a child, stepchild or lawfully adopted child of a person who is – (a) wholly dependent on the person; (aa) not over 24 years of age; [Inserted 18/25 (cio 1/12/25).] (b) unmarried; and (c) not engaged in any gainful activity;

(g) he is the spouse, dependent child, parent or other dependent of a person, other than a young professional, who is the holder of a residence permit as a retired non-citizen; (h) he is the spouse, dependent child, parent or other dependent of a person, other than a young professional, who is the holder of an occupation permit;

Dependents of an OP or Residence Permit holders may also apply for residence permit for a duration not exceeding that of the main holder.

(1) A non-citizen shall, subject to this section, cease to hold the status of resident where –
