What funds, insurance, onward travel or similar preparation is particularly important?
Participants must provide a passport with six months validity and six empty pages, copies of all pages, an institution study-status letter, host offer with dated acceptance and a detailed internship schedule. A visa-required national must obtain a Single Entry Visa before travel. The TalentCorp support letter is not immigration approval; funds and insurance levels are not specified.

4.0 DOCUMENT CHECKLIST
1. Copy of Passport
All pages;
Must have at least 6 months validity period from the date of
completed application submission;
Must have at least 6 empty pages.
2. Confirmation letter from education institution with the following details:
Name of the applicant as per passport;
Passport number;
Major / Course enrolled;
Major / Course start and end date;
Confirmation from the institution on the study status;
Name and position of the signatories of the letter.
3. Internship offer letter from host company with the following details:
Name of the applicant as per passport;
Passport number;
Name of the program and program period;
Program start and end date;
Signature, name and position of the host company representative;
Acceptance signature, and date of the applicant.
4. Detailed schedule of the internship program

1.6 For country requiring visa, program participants will have to apply for visa
from the nearest Malaysian Embassy / Consulate / High Commision (only
applicable for country requiring visa). Program participant can use the
TalentCorp support letter for reference when applying for visa.
Nevertheless, the approval is subject to the discretion of offcer in charge.

3.8 Program participant from country requiring visa is required to obtain a visa
before travel. Program participant will be issued Single Entry Visa (for
country requiring visa).

1.5 Applications that are endorsed will be issued a support letter from Talent
Corporation Malaysia Berhad (TalentCorp). This support letter serves as a
reference of the participant’s purpose of visit to Malaysia and for
Immigration Department Malaysia’s compliance and monitoring purpose.
It cannot be deemed as an approval letter and is subject to Immigration
Malaysia visa and pass requirements.
