For the relevant traveller scope, is a visa, electronic authorisation, visa on arrival or no advance visa normally required?

Visitors not exempted from a visa and entry permit may apply for an Entry Permit (visa-upon-arrival) at any border checkpoint of the Public Security Police upon arrival. Nationals of 88 listed countries are exempted by written instruction of the Chief Executive; from 1 July 2010 visitors from Bangladesh, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Vietnam must apply for a Macao visa in advance.

Authorization to Stay for a maximum of 30 days once approved; with a multiple Authorization to Enter and Stay the holder may enter multiple times within the 30 days, while single-entry requires a new application. Passport valid at least 90 days beyond the intended stay; maximum stay is restricted to 90 days before document expiry.

Apply at the Visa Room of the checkpoint upon arrival. Fees: MOP200 (one-off) or MOP300 (multiple) per individual; MOP400/MOP600 per family passport; MOP100/MOP150 for children under 12 and for groups of at least 10. The official source does not state when the stay can be extended or changed.
