- Employer Sponsorship Required
The employer conducts the recruitment test and permit process for the alien employee.
- Formal Sector Employer Required
The employer must be a formal-sector institution, corporation, partnership or other entity.
- Labour Employment Permit Required
Every alien must obtain the applicable labour employment permit before employment.
- Labour Market Test Required
Before hiring an alien, the employer must advertise for at least one month through two newspapers, two radio stations and two Liberian websites and obtain confirmation that no suitable Liberian is available.
- No Suitable Liberian Certificate Required
The employer must obtain certification that no suitable Liberian candidate is available.
