What status is obtained, how is it renewed, what longer-term residence/citizenship direction is officially stated, and what happens to the investment when relevant?
Holders of a temporary residence permit under Section 23, Part One, clause 29 or 30 of the Immigration Law of 31 October 2002, and their family members, may apply for a repeat temporary residence permit for up to five years to continue residing on the same ground. Conditions for the permit and unrestricted right to employment include submitting the application while the previous permit is valid, the investment still complying, and a payment into the State budget of EUR 1000 per year of permit. The official source does not state a citizenship direction or what happens to the investment.
