Limits of the record
  • The Wellington embassy page is the generic MFA text and does not name New Zealand explicitly as an agreement country.

What combination of travel, work, study or training does the programme permit?

The main purpose must be a trip or vacation, with work secondary: participants travel for a year and may supplement their income to finance the vacation from a non-professional source of income (such as waitressing or a gas station). The official source does not state whether study or training is permitted.

What are the defining limitations: quota, ballot, previous participation, employer limits, study limits or equivalent?

A participant cannot work at one place of work for more than three months (to work throughout the year they must change jobs every three months). Applications are accepted only in the agreement country, not at other Israeli missions, and the programme is not for tourists or foreigners already in Israel; entry is only through Ben-Gurion Airport.
