This is a direct application by online form, completed in English in a full and detailed manner; improperly filled applications are not processed. Detained foreign nationals must contact the detention centre authorities. Attendance in person is obligatory at later stages, at the Enforcement Administration offices in Bnai Brak.

What happens after the request: registration, family handling, major support and rights where officially stated?

A sending confirmation is emailed (it is not a confirmation of the application). After processing, the applicant is notified when to appear before a border control officer at the Enforcement Administration offices in Bnai Brak; after the officer verifies personal data, the applicant completes the procedure, which includes an interview, and a licence is issued in accordance with the PIBA procedure. Accompanying family members stated in the application must appear in person as set out in the notification. Applicants who fail to appear cannot reapply online and must email the Asylum Seekers Processing Unit explaining why. The official source does not describe the rights or support attached to the licence issued during the procedure.
