For the relevant traveller scope, is a visa, electronic authorisation, visa on arrival or no advance visa normally required?
Visa-required nationals must apply for a visa before travelling to Ireland, unless they hold an in-date EUFAM card or a BIVS visa. British citizens do not need a visa. Nationals of certain listed countries who entered the UK lawfully on an eligible UK short stay visa may visit Ireland under the Short-Stay Visa Waiver Programme without an Irish visa.
