Limits of the record
  • Not established: the correction failed a second independent check (NAO_SUSTENTA: C1-C2 say List B nationals and UN agency officials 'can apply for an e-visa through a handler'; the word 'only' (exclusivity) is not in the cited text.)

What short-visit purposes does this route cover?

The visa is issued for the purpose of visit or tourism; it is the same base visa type as the List A e-visa but requires a guarantor.

What important funds, accommodation, invitation, insurance, onward-travel or passport evidence may be required?

Where/how is permission obtained when required, and under what important circumstances can a stay be extended or changed?

The foreigner first agrees with a guarantor in the Kurdistan Region who supports the application, carries out the procedures on the foreigner's behalf and receives a proof code; the foreigner then submits the visa application form through the e-visa portal; the guarantor receives the application and pays the fee, and the KRG e-visa is sent to the applicant. Change of status: tourist visas cannot be converted into residence cards without Ministry of Interior approval. After a refusal, the application may be repeated once the reasons are corrected, unless the refusal relates to an entry ban.
