The checked official sources did not provide enough route-specific evidence to confirm the absence and continuity rules for the qualifying period.

What other major conditions apply, how is the status obtained, and what renewal, document-validity, retention or loss rules matter?

Available to: former dual-nationality children who chose foreign nationality or did not choose by age 21, while in Indonesia; children born in Indonesia whose father and/or mother held ITAP at the birth; Indonesian citizens who lost Indonesian citizenship while in Indonesia. The application is made by the foreigner, sponsor or responsible person to the head of the immigration office covering the foreigner's place of residence, within 14 days of returning immigration documents/facilities (former dual-national children) or within 90 days of birth (newborns). ITAP is granted for 5 years; the KITAP card is issued physically (collectable at the immigration office from 15 working days after issue) and digitally by email.
