For the relevant traveller scope, is a visa, electronic authorisation, visa on arrival or no advance visa normally required?

For the D2 business visits route, the Immigration Directorate publishes an advance multiple-entry visit visa to be requested through evisa.imigrasi.go.id. Its published initial stay is up to 60 days per arrival. This establishes the entry permission for a traveller applying under this route; it is not a nationality-wide rule about visa-free travel, visa on arrival or other visa categories. The page generally allows the foreign traveller to apply through an evisa account without a sponsor, subject to its stated sponsor exceptions.
