What important funds, accommodation, invitation, insurance, onward-travel or passport evidence may be required?

Travel document valid for at least 6 months (12 months for non-national documents such as emergency passports); a bank statement for the last 3 months in the name of the foreigner or sponsor as proof of living funds; a statement, invitation or correspondence from a government body or private organisation explaining its relationship with the foreigner; stateless persons and holders of non-national travel documents must also attach a re-entry permit and a return or onward ticket (crew excepted).
