For the relevant traveller scope, is a visa, electronic authorisation, visa on arrival or no advance visa normally required?

For Bangladesh nationals going to India to apply for a third-country visa at a foreign mission accredited to both India and Bangladesh, the current Gaborone consular table lists a Double Entry Visa under X-3. The older MHA Annex called the same purpose X-Double Entry. This is an advance visa route for that bounded purpose, not a general claim about all Bangladesh nationals.
